I'm Phyllis Lun (Chinese: 倫啟研), a postdoctoral fellow in the Population Well-being Lab
at the University of Toronto.
My research focuses on population mental health and well-being and particularly how major population events such as pandemics and armed conflicts shape entire communities' mental health and well-being. I am particularly invested in studying vulnerable populations around the world, from youth to people affected by protracted conflicts and political instability.
Here you'll find my background story, my curriculum vitae (CV), and published research in leading journals including Lancet, Science Advances, and JAMA Network Open.
Whether you're a fellow researcher in psychiatric epidemiology, student interested in cross-cultural psychology and global health, policymaker focused on evidence-based mental health interventions, or simply curious about the intersection of psychology, epidemiology, and public health, I invite you to explore my work and connect.
Welcome!
Be curious and be kind to one another.
